The Prototype Jam provides an opportunity for lawyers and computer specialists to design prototypes for small businesses. This collaboration between hackers and lawyers will be focused on helping businesses review and evaluate SaaS and cloud service contracts. Prizes at the Prototype Jam will be awarded for the best designs.
The Prototype Jam is hosted by WeWork San Diego, and will be held at their offices on 600 B Street from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 26th, 2017. Check out this link to register for free. The hosts will provide dinner and refreshments.
Small businesses don’t always have the legal support that they need. The goal of the Prototype Jam is to help entrepreneurs master SaaS and cloud service contracts. This event is ideal for anyone who wants to take advantage of the legal protection and support of the ABA Center for Innovation’s A2J mission. Practicing lawyers, law students, and legal hackers will all be there to work together and share ideas.
The ABA’s Cyberspace Law Committee and Legal Analytics Joint Working Group are co-sponsoring this event. LexPredict, along with Kira Systems and Bloomberg BNA, are also sponsoring the event, and will provide judges to evaluate the designs that the Jam participants develop. Legal Hackers will also provide additional support.
This isn’t the only cyberspace law event in the San Diego area that weekend. Check out the Cyberspace Law Institute and Winter Working Meeting on January 27th and 28th at the US Grant Hotel.
