LexPredict is pleased to announce that our founders, Michael Bommarito II and Daniel Martin Katz, will be attending the Fin Legal Tech Conference on Friday, November 4th in Chicago. The conference is hosted by the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. Mr. Katz will open the conference and give the keynote remarks.
Mr. Bommarito has been invited to the conference to speak on the evolution of legal tech, from Leibniz’s contributions to both computational mathematics and modern law, to Lloyd’s of London, to discussing legal underwriting and securitization. Mr. Bommarito will also use this opportunity to speak about LexPredict’s LexSemble service, which uses machine learning to aid law firms in data management and strategy.
Fin Legal Tech’s goal is to apply ideas and technology centered around risk and friction reduction for various fields within law, including litigation, transactional work, and compliance. This is the inaugural year of the conference, highlighting the Illinois Institute of Technology’s ongoing efforts to innovate in legal technology.
Additional information on the conference, and how to register, can be found here.
