LexPredict is pleased to announce that our CEO, Michael Bommarito, will be speaking at the ABA’s New Paradigms panel discussion on September 9th, 2016. The panel will be moderated by the head of the Legal Analytics Joint Working Group, Warren Agin, and will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the Marriott Copley Place, Wellesley Room, 3rd floor.
The discussion will center on the ever-increasing roles that big data, mathematics, and economics play in legal decision-making. The panel will discuss data analytics, game theory, machine learning, computational contracts, behavioral economics, and other systems being used as powerful new tools in the legal profession.
Mr. Bommarito has been invited to the panel to contribute his expertise on the subjects of data analytics and machine learning. Mr. Bommarito’s participation is part of a wider effort by LexPredict centered on “engaging and educating the community of legal professionals in the ABA”.
The mission of the Legal Analytics Joint Working Group involves using math and economics to improve techniques used in the practice of business law. The ABA Business Law annual meeting brings over a thousand legal professionals together in Boston. This year, the annual meeting occurs from September 8 – 10.
